We were commissioned to replace one of curved windscreens as part of her latest overall renovation.
The Project
We were commissioned to replace one of curved windscreens as part of her latest overall renovation.
As Haida is such a rare classic, particular attention had to be made to the interiors when removing the existing windscreen and installing the new curved
and laminated glass.
Great care was also needed in removing the varnished framed panel – and this was made all the more challenging by the tight space in which we had to work.
We removed the existing glass successfully with cheese wire, however, and our experience ensured we were able to overcome the difficulties.
As a result, the project was completed smoothly, and our team agreed was a pleasure to work on such a beautiful and unique classic yacht.
This project was a sheer joy. The staff we worked alongside were very warm and friendly.
We particularly enjoyed working with Martin English; we communicated on a daily basis to ensure that we were all on the same page.
